Badlands
I was in South Dakota for these two pictures. We were in the Badlands at the time, driving around through them. I stopped the car to get a couple of pictures with my family and I thought these turned out decent. The lighting was very dim, so the picture came out a lot darker than expected, but it increased the saturation of the photo, which made it more colorful. I contemplated taking the other photo, since I felt the location wasn't right. But I figured it'd be fine. I wanted to make a photo that attracted your eyes to a certain place within the picture.
Snowed Out Garden
We took these last year when the snow was slamming down like crazy. Out garden was covered with snow so unfortunately we weren't able to harvest any of the vegetables that were growing in the garden. I tried to take the pictures from angles that seemed to give it a more wide aspect, make you think there's more space than there actually is. The first picture, on first glance, looks like a forest filled with snow, but it's not. I thought it'd be interesting to do that. We encountered problems with the snow, it interfering with the camera, covering the lens on occasion
Lush Forestry
I thought both of these photos were spectacular. I hadn't encountered any errors or issues along the way of taking these. I found the mushroom totally by accident when I was hiking through the national forest. For the first one we were riding on an ATV and I saw this beautiful mountain shot I could take. I wanted to clean up the mushroom image a bit, since the background messed with the picture. I hoped to make it as close to an egg or weird looking thing of some sort. The hill was less tedious, since the area surrounding it looks amazing
Flatlands
Another 2 amazing photos I admire. This area was relatively close to the hill we hiked up. It lightened up a bit more, so the pictures in this seem a lot brighter and vibrant. I liked the windmill's position, since it was the center of the photo and caught your eye the most while still remaining a large enough size to be enjoyable. The rock near the river was inspired by my picture of the Badlands, since I wanted to make a picture reminiscent of that one, but being more eccentric to the eye. I thought it turned out well, and the best part. No Problems!
Red Woods & Mountain
These are both the same location, just different names because one was in a different style and object than the other. No, the mountain was not shot via shaky cam, the filter just makes it look like that. Though, it was very difficult getting this picture since a flock of people blocked the only good position and view of it. I was able to get it from a good angle, but unfortunately a tree blocked most of my picture. It was a very cheerful picture. It was very well exposed and vibrant, so I thought they both came out very well. We stopped the car multiple times for these two, so I hope it was worth it to everyone else.
